DanceHack SF is an annual San Francisco-based event that brings together performers and developers to inspire one another and experiment with emerging technologies, here in the SF/Bay Area and around the world. This year will be the 4th annual DanceHack SF, the 2nd Co-Presented by Kinetech Arts and CounterPulse.
DandHack takes place over two days:
Day 1 - Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM: Teams of Dancers and Hackers collaborate over the course of the day, combining their expertise to create unique performance experiences. There will also be tech and dance workshops TBA.
Day 2 - Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM: More workshops TBA.
Later on Sunday, from 8-10 PM, the Dance + Hacker teams will present a Showcase Performance of the original works they developed on Saturday, in the performance space at CounterPulse. (Please Note: Separate admission required for Showcase Performance on Sunday 8-10 PM. See CounterPulse for details.)
Workshops throughout both days will cover various aspects of perfromance and Tecchnology. Past Workshops have dealt with Digital Painting, Physical Computing with NodeMCU, Unity, Perception Neuron, Isadora, Improvisation, and much more!
